Batch Image Resizer is a browser-based image size changer for JPEG, PNG, and WebP files. Set a target width or a percentage of the original size. Aspect ratio is kept, and output is limited to 4096 × 4096 px. Results can be written to a folder you choose (where the browser allows it) or downloaded as a ZIP file.
What it does
- Loads images you select on this device.
- Shows thumbnails with filename and original resolution.
- Previews the first image at the chosen size without saving a file.
- Exports resized copies using the original filenames.
What it does not do
- It does not upload images to a server.
- It does not require an account.
- It does not crop, rotate, or color-correct images.
- It does not keep EXIF or other metadata in the exported files.
- It does not convert GIF, BMP, or TIFF.
This online app is the static, client-side edition. A separate local Python/Flask edition may exist in the same repository for desktop use; that server is not used here.
